ROGUE VALLEY · SOUTHERN OREGONRacing culture. Live music.
A reason to discover the Rogue.
A festival bringing sim racing, real-world motorsport, music and technology together—connecting downtown Medford with the Rogue Valley’s racing community and the next generation of fans.

THE PROPOSED 2027 EXPERIENCE
Six complementary parts of a festival built for enthusiasts, families, students and the people shaping the future of racing. The program would grow through exhibitor, operator and community participation.
Hands-on cockpit, wheel, pedal, motion and VR demonstrations. A proposed exhibitor floor for manufacturers, retailers, game developers and creators, alongside P2P racing experiences.
Performance parts, race preparation, safety equipment and automotive technology. Bring together builders, race teams, local clubs and collector-car exhibits, with demonstrations developed alongside venue operators.
A coordinated program of live music across theaters, clubs and other participating venues, with local and visiting artists, motorsport films, talks and evening gatherings. The lineup would be developed with promoters and venue owners.
A proposed EV racing exhibition at Jackson County Sports Park, FPV drone racing and engineering demonstrations. Electric motorsport, immersive technology and supervised STEM activities connect the audience with new ways to race.
An inaugural downtown esports competition, a two-driver virtual Medford-to-Medford challenge, and custom sim races inspired by downtown Medford. Creator and broadcast partners could connect the local event with a wider audience.
Operator-led karting sessions, coaching, club showcases and introductory motorsport experiences. Activities would be developed with existing facilities, supported by the P2P driver development and STEM initiatives.
Bring your hardware, software or racing experience to the proposed 2027 showcase. Explore the P2P Expo and discuss exhibiting.
FEATURE CONCEPTS FOR 2027
Electric motorsport at the park, an opening competition downtown, FPV drone racing and virtual courses made for the Rogue. These proposed experiences are being shaped through partner and venue conversations.
Electric race vehicles and karts in an exhibition developed with Sports Park operators, teams and manufacturers. Demonstration runs, head-to-head formats and paddock conversations could bring electric motorsport up close.
EV teams, manufacturers and motorsport operators.
A proposed inaugural tournament to celebrate a newly constructed downtown esports venue. Local players, visiting teams and a live audience would be part of the opening, with the game, format and timing developed around the venue’s launch.
Venue operator, tournament producers and game partners.
Pilot heats and a spectator final on a dedicated drone race course, with first-person video bringing the action to the audience. Course design, site selection and event operations would be developed with experienced FPV race organizers.
Drone pilots, FPV brands, race organizers and timing partners.
A virtual Cannonball-style team challenge from Medford, Massachusetts, to Medford, Oregon. Teams of two would share driving duties across a proposed cross-country route, with driver changes, checkpoints and an overall team result.
World builders, sim developers and team-race organizers.
A simulator competition around a custom digital version of downtown Medford. Recognizable streets and landmarks would set the scene for solo drift runs and potential tandem battles, with a scoring format developed for the event.
Track artists, drift communities and judging partners.
Cinematic street-racing energy on a virtual quarter-mile course. Head-to-head starts, reaction times and elapsed-time results could turn short simulator heats into a lively spectator competition.
Sim builders, drag-racing communities and timing developers.
We’re exploring custom tracks, environments and event tools built on an established simulation platform. A staged Medford-to-Medford relay is one possible first format; a continuous cross-country course would be a larger development project. Platform choice, commercial permissions, multiplayer behavior and scoring will need to be validated with delivery partners.
All six experiences are proposals. The Medford-to-Medford challenge, Downtown Drift and Quarter Mile are virtual races. Live event formats, the downtown opening tournament and participating venues remain subject to agreement.
ROOTED HERE. CONNECTED TO RACING.
Lithia’s story began in Ashland in 1946. Its motorsport connection continues through Lithia & Driveway’s backing of Pfaff Motorsports. Here in the Rogue Valley, local clubs and track operators have built their own enduring racing culture.
ROGUE, ROCK & RACE proposes to reconnect those worlds: celebrate the area’s automotive roots, bring racing technology closer to home and give the next generation a way into the sport.
A FESTIVAL ACROSS THE VALLEY
The concept connects complementary locations, giving visitors reasons to spend the day, stay for the evening and explore more of Southern Oregon.

Multi-venue music, car displays, exhibitor spaces and a proposed opening tournament at a new downtown esports venue. The P2P Lounge concept at Main + Fir could offer a year-round connection to the festival.
Explore the lounge proposal Lounge rendering is illustrative; venue participation and opening schedules are to be agreed.
A proposed EV racing exhibition would bring electric motorsport into the festival alongside activities developed with the karting, drag racing and oval-racing community. The park’s operators and the County would be part of the event and longer-term raceway conversations.

MORE REASONS TO STAY
A proposed scenic car tour built around characterful, attainable cars and memorable community stops. A touring experience, with the route and entry format to be developed.
A proposed performance-car showcase combining downtown displays, builder conversations and potential demonstrations at an approved motorsport venue.
Restaurant collaborations, brewery events and local food alongside the music program, with walkable downtown connections and transport options between participating locations.
THE AMBITION BEYOND ONE FESTIVAL
Use a compelling first event to build the relationships, repeat visitation and commercial interest that could support a much larger future for racing in the Rogue Valley.
Develop a first festival around participating venues, sim racing exhibitors, music and operator-led motorsport experiences. Give visitors a reason to spend time with local businesses and return.
Grow an annual calendar of competition, exhibitions and live music. Strengthen connections between schools, hospitality, car clubs, manufacturers and regional tourism.
Explore an integrated destination raceway with track experiences, driver development, paddock facilities and racing technology. Any redevelopment would be a separate undertaking with the County, existing operators and the community.
The long-term ambition is an American 24-hour sports-car endurance event inspired by the atmosphere and challenge of Le Mans. Sim and kart endurance formats could help build an audience while a suitable circuit, event operator and sporting approvals are explored.
Long-term concept; timing depends on a separate raceway and event feasibility study.
